Menorca is certainly the quietest island of the Balearics , less frequented by mass tourism and more suitable for families and couples who want to have fun in a moderate way. In fact, Menorca has a decent nightlife , even if it is very far from the glamor and excesses of Ibiza and Mallorca .
The island is much more reserved, intimate and welcoming, less touristy and wilder, thanks also to the presence of a natural park that extends over a large part of the island. This naturalistic jewel of the Balearic Islands boasts 200 kilometers of beaches, a blue sea that is suitable for the practice of any water sport, fresh pine forests and suggestive panoramic points (including the unmissable Monte Toro ). Furthermore, the mild climate all year round makes the island attractive to visit in any season.
While Menorca's popularity for nightlife is overshadowed by neighboring Majorca, there are still plenty of nightclubs, bars and discos on the island , concentrated in the main tourist resorts. At sunset, after a dinner in one of the many fish restaurants and a tour of the stalls and shops, you can head towards one of the many cocktail bars ( "bar de copas" ) and sip a good drink on a charming terrace outside open.
Menorca's nightlife is concentrated in the two main city centers of the island, the current capital Mahón and the ancient Ciutadella . Night clubs can be found along the port and seafront area and also in the historic center of Ciutadella. A lot of people flock here after dark to stroll and drink in one of the many bars, restaurants and pubs with terraces. For hardened revelers there is no shortage of discopubs and discos where you can dance until the morning : most clubs stay open until six in the morning, so you will have time to have fun in the evening!

But don't forget that Menorca's nightlife in summer doesn't start before 11pm or midnight , so don't be surprised if the clubs and disco bars are empty before then! The bigger clubs usually feature the latest dance music, as well as classic dance beats from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Latin music has caught on with the recent influx of immigrants from Brazil and Argentina, so you'll find plenty of nightclubs featuring Latin rhythms like Salsa, Tango and the like.
